The Middle East country has as many as six lakh soldiers in the active force and two lakhs in its revolutionary force. The Iranian air force has as many as 551 aircraft, including 186 fighter jets and 129 helicopters. Iran army has 1996 tanks, 65,765 armoured vehicles, and 775 MLRS. As far as naval power is concerned, the Iranian Navy has seven frigates, three corvettes, three submarines, and 19 patrol ships.
