Pawan Kalyan's 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' locks release date; Dulquer Salmaan's banner to distribute film in Kerala

After multiple delays, Pawan Kalyan-starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu has locked its latest release date. The news brings excitement as fans have been fervently anticipating the release of this high-budget pan-Indian film since the beginning of the year. The makers took to social media confirming the details with fans. 

 

According to an Instagram post shared by Mega Surya Productions, fans can mark their calendars as the movie is slated for a release this July 24th. The official logline read, “One fights for Power. One fights for Dharma. The clash of legacies begins. Witness the Battle for truth, faith and freedom. In Cinemas Worldwide July 24, 2025. A Historic Experience Awaits”.

Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films, which is distributing the film in Kerala, has confirmed the release date via its official social media handles. The company also distributed Kuberaa in Kerala.

Adding on to the excitement of the new release date, the makers unveiled a new poster on Instagram and later on placed outdoor hangings in Visakhapatnam, signalling the release of the movie. The new poster shared online focuses our attention on Veera Mallu (played by Pawan Kalyan) and Emperor Aurangzeb (played by Bobby Deol). The lower half of the poster details an ensuing war, with arrows being shot across vehemently.

 

Initially earmarked for a release on March 29th, the period film was first pushed to May 9th, and later on to June 12th, following post production delays and complex VFX works. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krishna, this historical period drama is set in the Mughal period detailing the life of the legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, with special focus on his confrontations with the Mughal empire.

 

Backed by producer A Dayakar Rao under the banner Mega Surya Productions, AM Rathnam will serve as the presenter. The musical scores are handled by the Oscar winning composer M. M. Keeravani. Four songs have already been released, leading to overwhelming responses from fans. Apart from Kalyan and Deol, the film's cast comprises Niddhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi and Sonakshi Sinha.

 

The film will be released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
