A female foeticide racket has been busted in Ahmedabad. Police arrested a nurse and a radiologist. They were involved in illegal sex determination and abortions. Some women aborted female foetuses due to family pressure. The accused conducted tests and abortions for money. Police investigation revealed a network offering to eliminate female children.
