However, after losing her sight, Vangeliya, aka Baba Vanga, allegedly gained the gift of clairvoyance and precognition, which purportedly enabled her to view future events with clarity and precision.
Baba Vanga, famously known as the ‘Nostradamus of the Balkans’, spent most of her life in the Rupite area in the Belasica mountains in Bulgaria, and shot to fame in the late 1970s and 1980s, when she became widely known in Eastern Europe for her alleged clairvoyance abilities.
