Do You Lead A Fulfilling Life?

Have you ever looked closely at your own life? Let’s say you live for seventy years. Now let's break that down. Just daily routines like bathing, brushing, and going to the washroom take about two hours a day. That adds up to nearly seven years of your life. Eating and drinking take another seven. Sleeping takes the largest slice, about twenty-five to thirty years. And when you calculate the moments of real joy, of laughing, playing, and being truly happy, they barely come to three or four years.

In the name of preparing to live, we forget to actually live. We keep postponing our happiness and contentment. It’s like spending the entire night making the bed, spreading the sheet, fluffing the pillows, and when morning comes, there’s no time left to rest. People spend their entire life accumulating wealth for four generations without tasting peace, joy, or a moment of stillness with the Divine. So the real question is, how fulfilled do you feel in life?

Where does real fulfilment come from? It comes from knowing this with certainty—you are very dear to the Divine. That’s it. The moment you know this deeply, life changes completely.

A small child never worries whether the mother has cooked food or not. It is enough that the mother is at home. The presence is the assurance. In the same way, just know God is with you, and He loves you immensely. That feeling itself is the beginning of transformation. You don’t have to wait for ten years of sadhana. You don’t have to climb a mountain or swim across an ocean. You can begin right now.

How long does it take to build a connection with someone? A wedding card goes out, and a new brother-in-law or sister-in-law enters your life. It happens that quickly. A connection is not about time.

In the same way, a connection with the Divine can blossom in a moment. Sit quietly. Close your eyes. Feel that closeness. Feel the love. That’s all it takes. And then just watch how grace begins to flow in every area of your life.
