The department has said that the conditions remain favorable for the advance of the monsoon. The Meteorological Department has said that in the next 2 days, the monsoon will spread to the remaining parts of the North Arabian Sea, some more parts of Rajasthan and Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, the remaining parts of western Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh as well as the remaining parts of Jammu.

Where will there be heavy rain?

According to IMD, there will be heavy rain in North-West India, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa between June 22 and 26. Monsoon advances in Punjab

The southwest monsoon on Sunday advanced into parts of Punjab, while conditions are favourable for its advance into parts of Haryana and Chandigarh in the next two days. A senior official of the Meteorological Department gave this information. According to Chandigarh Meteorological Department Director Surinder Pal, the monsoon has advanced into parts of Punjab.

He said, “Conditions are favourable for the advance of monsoon into parts of Haryana including Chandigarh in the next two days.” According to the Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon has further advanced into most parts of Himachal Pradesh, entire Ladakh and Kashmir, most parts of Jammu and some parts of Punjab.

Punjab and Haryana received pre-monsoon rainfall in the last few days, bringing relief to the people from the heat. More rain is expected in the region in the next few days.
