Panchayat Season 4 Twitter review: Neena Gupta – Jitendra Kumar’s series gets mixed response from netizens, say ‘Boring, dragged’
Panchayat Season 4 Twitter review: The much-loved Indian web series, Panchayat, has released its season 4. It dropped at midnight on June 24 on Amazon Prime Video. The eight-episode series is longer than usual and has more characters added. It takes you back to where you stopped the season three in Uttar Pradesh’s Phulera village.
The drama revolves around MBA-aspirant Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar) aka Sachivji, who takes up the job of Phulera panchayat’s secretary. Neena Gupta plays the role of Manju Devi, who is the elected head of the panchayat (village council). As soon as the episodes were available on Prime Video, netizens and critics were quick to binge-watch and review Panchayat Season 4.
Panchayat 4 shows a tug of war situation between two camps: Pradhan ji-Manju Devi and gang versus Bhushan, Kranti Devi, Binod, and Madhav. Netizens feel the plot is overcooked, repetitive, and freshness is missing from the storyline. The reactions to the series are mixed on Twitter (now X). One of the users said, “Stayed up all night to finish #PanchayatSeason4 It’s good. Better than last season. Progresses slowly. Loved @ashok_pathak3 who outshines this season and @malikfeb . These two really outdid themselves”.

Another user said, “Enjoyable but not perfect!! Missing the charm and emotional depth of the last 3 seasons. Still worth a watch for the performances and rural vibe, but the magic feels a bit diluted.”
