Trading scam: Man duped of Rs 46.5 lakh; promised high returns

A Mangaluru resident fell victim to an online investment fraud. He lost Rs 46.5 lakh after joining a WhatsApp group. The group promised high returns on stock trading. He invested through RTGS and IMPS. He transferred funds to accounts provided by the scammers. The victim realised the scam when withdrawal was denied.
