Thane court sentences youth to 20 years RI for sexual assault of 15-year-old girl

A 24-year-old man from Diva has been sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment by a Thane court for the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in 2022. The special Pocso judge highlighted the accused's disturbing mental state. The victim was lured on the pretext of ordering water and was later sexually assaulted by the accused and a juvenile.
