Mika Singh trolls Diljit Dosanjh for working with Pak’s Hania Aamir in ‘Sardaar Ji 3’: ‘Fake singer…’

As Diljit Dosanjh is buzzy promoting his upcoming film, Sardaar Ji 3, popular singer Mika Singh has called out Diljit Dosanjh for starring a Pakistani actress, Hania Aamir, reigniting the debate over cross-border collaborations during politically sensitive times.

Mika took to his Instagram stories to voice his thoughts, making it clear that national sentiment should take precedence.

Here’s what he mentioned

“Desh pehle (Country first). Guys, as we all know, the relationship between India and Pakistan isn’t going well right now. Yet some people continue to act irresponsibly. Before releasing any content that involves artists from across the border, they should think twice — especially when our nation’s dignity is involved,” he wrote.

Without naming Diljit directly at first, Mika alluded to artists who fail to honour national priorities while chasing fame or profit abroad. The frustration didn’t end there.

He invoked the unreleased film Abir Gulaal, which starred Pakistani actor Fawad Khan alongside Vaani Kapoor. The movie faced massive public backlash and was never released in India.

“There was a film featuring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor that many of us opposed, and yet, some still don’t seem to get the message,” Mika said, hinting that the industry still hasn’t learned from past outrage.

Then came the direct jab

“What’s more shocking is that a fake singer, after doing 10 shows in India with thousands of fans buying tickets, has now disappeared, leaving fans betrayed and helpless.”

While Mika didn’t name Diljit here either, the timing and context left little doubt about who the remarks were aimed at.

Sardaar Ji 3: Release date

Sardaar Ji 3, part of Diljit Dosanjh’s beloved horror-comedy franchise, is set to release overseas only on June 27. While sharing the trailer on Instagram, Diljit captioned it, “Sardaar Ji 3 Releasing 27th June overseas only. Fadh Lao Bhoond Dian Lattan.”

With growing tensions and a politically charged atmosphere, Mika’s comments have sparked conversations online, raising tough questions about nationalism, artistic freedom, and accountability in entertainment.
