Naval training camp ends
The 10-day Annual Training Camp (ATC) of the Naval Unit, NCC 2 Punjab Battalion, Amritsar, concluded at Partap World School, Pathankot.
The event was marked by a spirit of patriotism, discipline and cultural pride. Brigadier Anjan Kumar Basumatari and officers from various local military units of Pathankot, were present at the closing ceremony. Over 500 NCC cadets from various colleges and schools across Punjab participated in this intensive residential training camp.
The closing ceremony featured an array of activities including Yoga demonstrations, giddha, bhangra, solo songs, theatrical plays and a detailed camp report presentation. These performances highlighted the physical and creative talents nurtured during the camp. The celebrations concluded with a dinner, bringing together cadets and officers in a spirit of camaraderie.
Throughout the 10-day camp, cadets were engaged in a range of discipline-building and life-skill-enhancing activities, such as boating exercises, fire safety drills, motivational and educational sessions and sports competitions. These activities not only tested their endurance and skill but also strengthened their teamwork, leadership, and confidence.
Amritsar
