About New York

New York, which featured a powerful ensemble cast including John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, the late Irrfan Khan, and Neil Nitin Mukesh, was set against the turbulent backdrop of post-9/11 America. The story follows three university friends at the fictional New York State University whose lives are forever changed by the political and emotional fallout of the attacks.

The film marked Kabir Khan’s second directorial project with Yash Raj Films, following the critically acclaimed Kabul Express in 2006. It became a commercial success and was ranked the sixth-highest grossing Hindi film of the year.

Hai Junoon explores the raw, emotional journeys of a new generation unafraid to challenge societal expectations. At its core is a high-voltage rivalry between the privileged Supersonics and the driven Misfits — a conflict that fuels the show’s intense drama and emotional depth.
