New Expressway: A four-lane highway from Bandikui to Jaipur has been completed on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. After security checks, it will be opened for traffic next month. Once it is operational, people will be able to reach Jaipur from Delhi in less time.

67 km long highway constructed

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has constructed a 67 km long highway. Currently, one way to go from Delhi to Jaipur is the Jaipur Highway, while the other goes towards Jaipur via the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. It takes about four hours to go to Jaipur from the Mumbai Expressway. People going to Jaipur have to exit the Mumbai Expressway at Bandhraj Toll Plaza in Dausa district of Rajasthan and go to the Jaipur-Agra Highway (NH-44).

The journey will be reduced by 12 km

Due to heavy traffic, it takes about one and a half hours to cross this highway. Keeping in mind the inconvenience of drivers, NHAI has prepared a new highway. After the opening of this highway, the journey will be reduced by 12 km. NHAI regional officer Pradeep Atri said that with this, one can reach Jaipur from Delhi in three to three and a quarter hours.
