Meghalaya Honeymoon Case-Like Murder In Telangana, Wife And Lover Among 8 Held — Details
Police have arrested eight individuals in connection with the brutal murder of Ganta Tejeshwar, a 26-year-old land surveyor and dance teacher from Gadwal district, Telangana. The case has sent shockwaves across the region, with investigators confirming that Tejeshwar’s wife Aishwarya and her alleged lover, V Tirumala Rao, conspired to kill him with the help of hired assassins. The case also draws similarities to the Meghalaya honeymoon murder where a newly-wed woman murdered her husband during their honeymoon with the help of her paramour.
A Month After Marriage, Victim’s Body Found In Canal
Tejeshwar, who had married Aishwarya on May 18, was reported missing by his family on June 17 after he failed to return home. His body was later found in a canal in the Panyam area of Nandyal district, Andhra Pradesh.
Police believe Rao, a bank manager from Kurnool district, paid contract killers to eliminate Tejeshwar. A GPS tracker was reportedly used to trace the victim's movements, ensuring precise execution of the murder.
Murder Plot Unfolds
According to investigators, the murder was premeditated and meticulously executed. Police have recovered two machetes, a knife, 10 mobile phones, and a GPS device used to track Tejeshwar's movements before the crime was carried out.
The list of arrested includes Tejeshwar's wife, lover and contract killers. The eight accused arrested in the case have been identified as: V Tirumala Rao (alleged lover and mastermind), Aishwarya (Tejeshwar's wife), Sujatha (Aishwarya’s mother), Kummari Nagesh, Chakali Parashuram, Chakali Raju, A. Mohan and Tirupathayya.
