Theatre Ceiling Collapses On Audience During Kuberaa Screening In Telangana, Shocking Visuals Surface

In a shocking incident, the ceiling of a theatre in Telangana collapsed on Wednesday night while the audience was watching Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna's latest film, Kuberaa, inside. Several people were reportedly injured and those present inside also got into a heated argument with the theatre owners.

The incident took place on Wednesday at the Mukunda Theatre in Mahabubabad, Telangana, when the audience was engrossed in watching Kuberaa. Those present inside shared that the ceiling suddenly collapsed, and several people sustained injuries. They were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

In one of the videos, portions of the ceiling can be seen having fallen on the first few rows of the theatre, resulting into chaos, and all the while, the film continued being played on the big screen.

Some members of the audience got into an ugly spat with the theatre owners and management, stating that they do not expect to get injured when they step out to watch a film with their loved ones. They also demanded action against the theatre management for negligence.

The theatre management is yet to issue a statement on the incident.

Meanwhile, Kuberaa has emerged to be a hit at the box office, and fans have been lauding Dhanush and Rashmika's performance in the film. The film also stars Nagarjuna, Jim Sarbh, Dalip Tahil, and others in key roles.

In the film, Dhanush plays a beggar who undergoes a massive transformation, laced with themes of greed and ambition, until he decides to embark on his quest for redemption.

The film has so far earned Rs 65 crore in India.
