RDB Infrastructure allots 5 lakh equity shares on conversion of warrants | Check details here
A smallcap infra company, RDB Infrastructure, has informed exchanges that its board of directors has considered and approved the allotment of 5,00,000 equity shares to a “Non-Promoters Category” on a preferential basis upon conversion of equivalent warrants. This strategic move, initiated upon the receipt of the balance amount of Rs 1,51,87,500, representing 75 per cent of the warrant issue price at Rs 40.5 per warrant, is a significant step towards the company’s growth.
The company under discussion is RDB Infrastructure and Power Ltd, and the name of the allottee is Rs Pallavi Moryani.
The company had allotted warrants on November 27, 2024, carrying a right to subscribe one equity share per warrant on receipt of the amount at the rate of Rs 10.125 per warrant (being 25 per cent of the issue price per warrant).
Q4 Results
RDB Infrastructure and Power Ltd has shown significant improvement in its financial performance, posting a net profit of Rs 1.15 crore in the March quarter, a result of reduced expenses.
It’s worth noting that the company had reported a loss of Rs 8.69 lakhs in the fourth quarter of FY24, the company said in a filing. This loss was attributed to [specific reasons for the loss].
The company’s income trimmed to Rs 21.82 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs 36.84 crore in Q4 of the preceding fiscal.
Notably, the company has managed to significantly reduce its expenses to Rs 20.13 crore, from Rs 36.91 crore in the same period a year ago, demonstrating its commitment to financial prudence.
Meanwhile, Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty rallied in early trade on Thursday, taking their winning momentum to the third day running, amid optimism following a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 163.27 points to 82,918.78 in early trade. The 50-share NSE Nifty went up 64.35 points to 25,309.10.
Later, the BSE benchmark traded 415.98 points higher at 83,171.49, and the Nifty quoted 115.50 points up at 25,359.45.
