Axiom-4 Mission, Carrying ISRO's Shubhanshu Shukla, Docks At ISS
SpaceX's Axiom-4 mission, carrying ISRO astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, docked at the International Space Station around 4.45 pm IST. The Ax-4 crew successfully lifted off on June 25 into space onboard SpaceX's Dragon aircraft, after nearly a month of delays and postponements.
Aboard the spacecraft along with Shukla are mission specialists Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski of Poland and Tibor Kapu of Hungary, and commander Peggy Whitson of the United States, a former NASA astronaut who now works for the company Axiom Space-- which organizes private spaceflights, among other things.
