CBDT orders processing of late returns, refunds filed upto March 2024

The CBDT has relaxed the timeframe for processing late tax returns and issuing refunds for valid claims submitted by March 2024. Taxpayers will be informed by March 2026, easing concerns over unprocessed returns due to previous technical issues.
