When will the monsoon arrive

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is now slowly progressing in North-West India and there is every possibility of reaching the remaining areas in the next three to four days. Usually the monsoon starts from Kerala around June 1 and gradually spreads across the country by July 8. This time the pace of monsoon was slow for two weeks in the beginning, but it has gained momentum since last week and now it has reached most parts of Central India and North India.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and lightning with thunder on June 28 and 29, so people have been advised to be alert. How much rain has fallen so far in June

In the beginning of June, the rain was very less, but now the situation has improved due to the re-intensification of the monsoon and the rainfall for the entire month has now increased by an average of 9%. A Meteorological Department official said that there is a possibility of good rain in central and north India this week and next week, which will help farmers in sowing Kharif crops.
