Air India plane crash investigation: The Air India flight crashed on June 12 in Ahmedabad soon after take-off. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB), which is investigating this accident, has got a big success. The government said on Thursday that the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and Flight Data Recorder (FDR) have been safely removed from the black box of the plane, their data has been downloaded and now their analysis has been started. Both these recorders play the most important role in the investigation of plane accidents.

What was found from the black box?

The black box was brought from Ahmedabad to Delhi on June 24, where it was opened in the laboratory of the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau. After this, the Crash Protection Module (CPM) was safely removed. Its memory was successfully accessed and data was downloaded.

Let us tell you that 275 people lost their lives in this accident. Out of the 242 people on board the plane, 241 people lost their lives. Only one person Vishwas Kumar Ramesh survived the plane crash.

What is CVR and FDR?

CVR (Cockpit Voice Recorder) is the record of pilot conversations and cockpit sounds, which helps us to know the situation just before the accident.

FDR (Flight Data Recorder) is the record of aircraft speed, altitude, engine status, direction and other technical information.
