Emergency Exercise Conducted At Indore Airport To Test Quick Response And Coordination In Crisis
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A special full-scale emergency exercise was conducted at Indore Airport on 26 June 2025 to test the preparedness to deal with emergency situations.

The aim of this exercise was to thoroughly evaluate the effectiveness of the existing Airport Emergency Plan, the level of coordination and communication between various internal and external agencies, and the overall quick response capability in handling a real-life emergency situation.
All internal agencies like CISF personnel, airline staff, and AAI employees, as well as external agencies like the City Fire Brigade and staff of local medical institutions, actively participated in this exercise with team spirit.
The emergency drill was based on an air accident scenario, where all the concerned agencies had to reach the spot without delay and carry out immediate relief, rescue, and medical operations.
During the mock exercise, the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was activated, and all communication tools, systems, and response chains were tested in real-time conditions.

All participating agencies worked with excellent coordination and showed strong cooperation, discharging their duties and responsibilities efficiently. The exercise not only showcased the strengths and readiness of the airport emergency system, but also helped in identifying areas that need further improvement for better response in the future.
