Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh will receive heavy rains at isolated places from June 27 to July 3. During this period, thunderstorms with strong winds at a speed of 30-40 km / h will persist.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are also expected in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim. Very heavy rains may occur in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh between July 1 and 3. Heavy rain warnings have been issued in Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Karnataka, Telangana and Kerala in southern peninsular India from June 27 to July 3. Very heavy rains are expected in Kerala on June 27 and 28. Along with this, strong surface winds will blow at a speed of 40-60 km / h in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Telangana from June 27 to 30. Northeast India will also receive light to moderate rains at most places for the next seven days. During this time, thunderstorms and heavy rains will persist at isolated places.

Himachal Pradesh floods, search and rescue operations begin

Lovely told that there were 13 people in the camp, out of which five people ran towards the hills but the rest were swept away in the strong current of water.
