Odisha Vigilance Raids Multiple Properties Linked to Ganjam Block AEE Over DA Allegations

Berhampur: Odisha Vigilance on Saturday carried out extensive searches at multiple locations associated with Susil Kumar Panda, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Ganjam Block in Ganjam district, following allegations of possessing disproportionate assets beyond his known sources of income.
The operation, conducted on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur, was led by several Deputy Superintendents of Police, Inspectors, and supporting staff.
The searches spanned across various properties in Ganjam and Puri districts. These included a triple-storeyed residence in Ram Hari Nagar, a couple of flats in Mukteshwar Apartment at Ankuli—one of which is reportedly in the name of his brother—a flat in Chudanga Sahi of Puri, his paternal house in Gudali village under Kabisurya Nagar, his in-laws’ residence at Bedha in Purushottampur, and his official chamber at the Ganjam Block office.
The operation is currently underway, and further details are expected as the investigation progresses, the Vigilance sources said.
