Madhya Pradesh: In a shocking video, people are seen crossing an overflowing river's bridge without any safety measures in Madhya Pradesh's Harda. In a dangerous-looking site, people were trying to cross the river by simply walking and driving across the bridge. The video has gone viral on the Internet and has sparked concerns about the risky bridge crossing amid rising water levels of the river.
The rain is taking its toll in Madhya Pradesh. After heavy rains, the water levels have risen from below par, and several rivers and bridges are overflowing. Meanwhile, a video from Harda sparked concerns over villagers safety while crossing the river. The video shows people cautiously crossing the bridge one by one, in which some can be seen walking while some are even driving past the bridge, without any safety measures taken.

Heavy Rains For Next Five Days In Madhya Pradesh:
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain in seven districts of Madhya Pradesh today, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Khajuraho (Chhatarpur), Damoh, Katni, Shivpuri, and Panna. These areas are also likely to see lightning along with rainfall. The weather department has urged residents to remain cautious and stay indoors if possible.
The IMD has also urged to avoid staying in open fields, near trees, or under electric poles during thunderstorms. Don’t drive through flooded roads or low-lying areas. Remove heavy objects from rooftops to avoid damage during strong winds. People are also advised to keep weather alert notifications turned on in their phones.
