Ileana D’Cruz announces birth of her second child: ‘Our hearts are so full’

Earlier today, Ileana D’Cruz took to Instagram to announce the birth of her second son by sharing an adorable picture. According to the announcement, D’Cruz and her husband, Michael Dolan, welcomed their baby on June 19.

The post, captioned “Our hearts are so full”, featured the newborn and revealed his name—Keanu Rafe Dolan. A surprised fan commented, “She was pregnant?” as some of them were unaware of her second pregnancy. Many celebrities congratulated her, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who wrote, “Congratulations beautiful,” followed by a flurry of red hearts.

D’Cruz tied the knot with Dolan in May 2023 and a few months later, on August 1, 2023, gave birth to her firstborn, Koa Phoenix Dolan. Her pregnancy journey with Koa was public, as she posted multiple photos of her growing baby bump. Months after Koa turned one, she announced her second pregnancy in a post, but this time, her nine-month journey was cloaked in secrecy.

D’Cruz is a well-known personality, widely recognised in the South. She debuted in the 2006 hit Telugu film Devadasu, and later went on to star in multiple Telugu and Hindi films. Her latest on-screen appearance was in Do Aur Do Pyaar, which was released in April 2024 and is now streaming on JioHotstar.

In a recent Q&A Session on Instagram, fans asked her about her next project, but she did not reveal any information about the same. She also said, "The makers of Raid 2 did offer the movie to me, but unfortunately, we couldn’t work out the schedule, given that I had just had my baby and my priorities are very different at the moment.”
