While her family has yet to issue an official statement, several reports suggest that the cause of death was cardiac arrest. Several celebrities were seen arriving at Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital, where Shefali’s post-mortem was being conducted.

Surbhi Chandna snaps at paparazzi

On Saturday, actress Surbhi Chandna was spotted at the hospital alongside her husband, Karan Sharma. While exiting the premises, she was hounded by the paparazzi, which visibly irritated her, prompting her to snap at them. She was heard saying, "Aap hatt jaiye, please. Kaise jaun main yahan se?"

About Shefali Jariwala's death

On Friday evening, Shefali was rushed to the Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by her husband Parag Tyagi, but was declared dead by doctors upon arrival. The postmortem report is awaited to determine the exact cause of death.

"She was brought to the hospital around 11:15 pm (Friday). The on-duty doctor declared her dead on arrival," a hospital source said.

Earlier today, Parag was spotted outside the hospital, where he was mobbed by paparazzi as soon as he stepped out of his car. 'Please aisa mat karo na tum log,' he was heard requesting the paps with folded hands.

Cops have also recorded the statement of Parag, at their home, along with three other people.

Shefali Jariwala's journey in the industry

Shefali appeared in Bollywood, starring in the 2004 film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi alongside Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.

Jariwala also gained recognition through her appearances on reality TV, most notably in Bigg Boss 13 in 2019.
