After the deadly Pahalgam attack carried out by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists, India struck the terror launchpads in the neighbouring country and the Pak-occupied Kashmir. However, it is now evident that Pakistan has not learnt its lesson as its spy agency ISI and army are reportedly rebuilding the terror training camps and recruitment centres destroyed by India during Operation Sindoor in May.
The government is funding the rebuilding of these terror infrastructure in PoK and nearby regions along the LoC. with the help of the Pakistani army and the ISI, according to an NDTV report.
As per the report, intelligence sources revealed that Pakistan is planning to set up smaller terror launchpads equipped with advanced technology in dense forest regions in a bid to evade the hawk eyes of Indian intelligence agencies. These camps will host less than 200 operatives, thereby reducing the chances of loss of lives in case of potential airstrikes.
The camps, which are being rebuilt by Pakistan, include those that were earlier based in Putwal, Luni, Tipu Post, Jamil Post, Umranwali, Chaprar Forward, Chhota Chak and Janglora, revealed the news outlet.
The report revealed that ISI officials met with senior leaders of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Hizbul Mujahideen and LeT proxy The Resistance Front, which claimed responsibility for the Pahalgam attack, in Bahawalpur. The meeting intercepted by Indian agencies discussed their plans to rejig the operational command, resume recruitment of terrorists in Pakistan and India and redistribute weapons.
India struck terror camps in Pakistan and PoK, including the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Muridke and the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in Bahawalpur. Other terror targets were Chhakwal, Neelum Valley, Jhelum, Bhimber, Chakswari, Muzaffarabad, Rawalkot and Kotli. These terror facilities were operated by LeT, JeM and Hizbul Mujahideen.
Pakistan responded by sending a barrage of missiles and drones aimed at civilian and military facilities and these were thwarted by India's air defence systems. Indian then retaliated by targeting their air bases, including Nur Khan, Murid, Sialkot, Jacobabad, Bholari, Rafiqui, Sargodha, Sukkur, Pasrur, Skardu and Chunian.
