The Kaanta Laga girl Shefali Jariwala passed away on June 28, at the age of 42. Reports claim that Shefali died due to cardiac arrest. In the evening, Shefali’s mortal remains were brought back to her home from where they were taken for the last rites. The former Bigg Boss 13 contestant’s last rites were performed at Mumbai’s Oshiwara crematorium. While performing the last rites, Shefali Jariwala’s husband Parag Tyagi broke into tears.

A video of the saddest moment has surfaced online where Shefali’s husband Parag Tyagi breaks down while bidding adieu to his wife. In the viral video, he can be seen wiping off his tears.

During Shefali’s final rites, family and friends gathered and paid their last tribute to the actress.

Aarti Singh, who is Shefali’s close friend, burst into tears during Shefali’s last rites. The two shared a close bond after they went to Bigg Boss 13. The Kaanta Laga girl also attended Aarti’s wedding to Deepak Chauhan and shared several memories.

What Happened to Shefali Jariwala?

In the wee hours of Saturday, Shefali suffered a cardiac arrest. Following this, her husband Parag rushed to the hospital where the actress was declared brought dead.

After handing over Shefali Jariwala’s mortal remains to her family, Cooper Hospital has released an official statement regarding her death.

“Mrs. Shefali Zariwala, 42/F, an actress, was brought to Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Medical College and Dr. RN Cooper Hospital, from Bellevue Hospital. She was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital. Her body was brought to Cooper Hospital at 12:30 a.m. A post-mortem was conducted by government doctors,” reads the statement.
