‘Doing the right thing’: Florida man convicted of freeing 19 sharks pardoned by Donald Trump; left ‘speechless’
Tanner Mansell, a Florida diver, received a pardon from US President Donald Trump. Mansell was earlier convicted for releasing sharks from a NOAA research line. He and another person had cut a longline, freeing nineteen sharks. Mansell expressed gratitude for the pardon. He said he initially believed he was stopping a crime. The conviction had restricted his rights.
