Shefali Jariwala kept fast, eaten…; sudden drop in blood pressure caused…, say police
Actress Shefali Jariwala was 42 years old, and her sudden death has sent shockwaves across the nation, especially since she was known for her commitment to fitness. A new report from the police has emerged in connection with her death. According to the preliminary findings, Shefali had observed a fast throughout the day for a Satyanarayan pooja at home. After the ritual, she reportedly consumed refrigerated food. Shortly after, her blood pressure dropped, and she collapsed at home. The Amboli police have shared a portion of the initial test report.
As soon as Shefali’s husband Parag Tyagi saw her, he quickly took her to the hospital, but she breathed her last on the way. The doctors declared her dead.
What was mentioned in the forensic team’s report?
The forensic team had also gone to Jeriwala’s home as a mandatory procedure. A police officer said, “As a part of this procedure, the doctors said they suspected the cause of death to be a dip in her BP”.
Another police officer said they found two boxes containing anti-ageing/skin glow tablets containing glutathione and vitamin pills in her flat. “The statements of all family members, including husband Parag were recorded, and they have no complaints. No foul play has been observed.”
The officer further said, “Shefali had observed fast for a Satyanarayan pooja at home and her parents attended it too”.
What did Shefali Jeriwala’s husband Parag Tyagi say?
Parag Tyagi addressed the media after performing Shefali’s last rites. He broke down and requested the paps to not create any drama or make fun of his wife’s demise. In the video that has now gone viral on the internet, shows Parag with folded hands asking paps to pray for Shefali Jariwala.
He said, “Please mazak, drama mat banaiyega. Main sabse yahi request karta hoon. Meri Pari ke liye pray kijiyega, woh jaha bhi rahe, khush rahe, shaanti se rahe. Abhi please bandh kar dijiye (cameras).” (Please don’t make fun or drama. I request everyone. Please pray for my Pari, wherever she is, she should be happy and peaceful. Now please turn off the camera.)
