"Quoted Out Of Context": India On Defence Attache's Op Sindoor Remark

The Indian embassy in Indonesia today said media reports have "quoted out of context" a presentation made by the defence attache at a seminar on Operation Sindoor.

The defence attache, Captain Shiv Kumar, had explained the Indian military's response in the initial phase of Operation Sindoor at a seminar in an Indonesian university.

India has always maintained that the objective of Operation Sindoor was to destroy terror infrastructure deep inside Pakistan, and the Indian response to the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam that killed 26 tourists was non-escalatory.
