CSEET July 2025: ICSI Issues Key Guidelines For July 5 Exam — All You Need To Know

CSEET July 2025: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced key recommendations for candidates taking the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) in July 2025. The exam will be place in remote proctored mode, which allows students to take it from home using a laptop or desktop computer, on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

CSEET July 2025: Mock test details

On July 5, 2025, ICSI will administer a practice exam to help students become accustomed to the online test interface. All candidates are required to do this. Login credentials and instructions for the mock test will be sent via email or SMS before the test date.

CSEET July 2025: Required documents

  • CSEET Admit Card (printed copy)

  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID Proof (any one of the following):

    - Aadhaar Card

    - Passport

    - PAN Card

    - Voter ID

    - Driving License

These documents are mandatory for verification during the login process and will be monitored throughout the exam.

CSEET July 2025: Exam pattern

  • The exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only.

  • No viva-voce component will be conducted this time.

  • The test will cover four core areas:

    - Business Communication

    - Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning

    - Economic and Business Environment

    - Current Affairs (including Presentation and Communication Skills)

  • Total duration of the exam: 2 hours

CSEET July 2025: Exam Day Guidelines

  • The candidate's residence will be the site of the July 2025 CSEET. A physical examination centre does not exist.

  • To prevent last-minute issues, candidates are encouraged to log in at least thirty minutes prior to the appointed time.

  • Only desktop or laptop computers may be used by candidates when they take the test.

  • Devices such as MacBooks, tablets, and cellphones are prohibited.

  • Windows 7 or higher, a working webcam and microphone, and dependable internet with a minimum speed of 512 kbps are required for the system.

  • It is also recommended to make sure there is adequate illumination and a steady power source throughout the test.

  • The most recent version of Google Chrome is the only browser that candidates are required to use.

  • Candidates are required to sit by themselves in a quiet room during the test and make sure their face is always visible on the camera.

  • Exam cancellation may result from actions deemed suspect, such as getting up from your seat, talking, using a device, or turning your head away from the screen.

  • It is completely forbidden to utilise calculators, smart watches, mobile phones, books, notes, or paper. Any kind of impersonation or cheating will result in disciplinary action, which may include the result being void.

It is highly recommended that candidates review the official instruction material found on the ICSI website. Technical or behavioural violations may result in disqualification, and requests for retests will not be honoured.
