Laghu Udyog Bharati announces new team

JAMMU, June 30: The members of new working committee of Laghu Udyog Bharati were formally announced in a function held here today.
The new team was announced during a meeting, which was attended by Arvind Dhumal, national vice-president and north zone prabhari as the chief guest, while Anju Bajaj, national joint secretary and prabhari J&K Laghu Udyog Bharati was the guest of honour.
They were accompanied by Vikrant Sharma, incharge of membership drive.
In the new team, Parveen Pargal was appointed as president, Dinesh Gupta as senior vice president, Fiaz Ahmed Bhat and Ankit Gupta as vice presidents, Aagam Jain as general secretary, Pranav Gupta and Mukul Mahajan as joint general secretaries, Rohit Verma and Rajeev Gupta as secretaries, Ishant Gupta as secretary finance, Rajinder Sadotra as joint secretary finance and Mohit Abrol as convenor, Bari Brahmana.
Speaking on the occasion, newly elected president, Parveen Pargal highlighted that the Government of India had extended the New Central Sector Scheme (NCSS) from April 1, 2021, to September 30, 2024, to promote investment and industrial development in J&K (UT).
He stressed that the last date for registration under NCSS is approaching fast and if the incentives under the current package are not extended, enhanced and reserved, it could have serious repercussions on the industrial sector of J&K.
Pargal said that special attention should be given to the MSME sector and to those units which have already taken effective steps towards implementing their projects but were delayed or denied benefits.
In his address, Arvind Dhumal appreciated the dedicated work of the Laghu Udyog Bharati J&K team and assured that all the issues highlighted in the memorandum will be taken up with higher authorities.
Among others who attended the function included Rajinder Gupta, Arun Sharma, Rajesh Gupta, Rakesh Gupta, Towqir Ahmed Tantray others.
