However, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders i.e. 14.2 kg cylinders. The increase in the price of commercial cylinders will affect the business of hotels, restaurants and small businessmen.

According to the list released on the website of Indian Oil, the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders have been reduced by up to Rs 58.50. At the same time, no change has been made in the price of 14 kg domestic cylinder. This cylinder will now be available in Delhi for Rs 1,665, whereas earlier it was priced at Rs 1,723.50. Similarly, in Mumbai, the price of this cylinder has come down from Rs 1,674.50 to Rs 1,616.

Prices have been reduced several times in the year 2025
For the last few months, the prices of commercial gas cylinders have been continuously reduced. The prices of cylinders were reduced in April, May and June 2025. Commercial LPG cylinders became cheaper by about Rs 41 in April, Rs 14.50 in May and Rs 24 in June. However, the prices had increased by Rs 6 in March, but were reduced by Rs 7 in February. Now in July also, the companies have given relief to the customers by reducing the prices of cylinders.
No change in the price of domestic cylinders
While the price of commercial cylinders has been reduced, there has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinders. The price of domestic cylinder in Delhi is still Rs 853.

Subsidy is given to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana
Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), about 10 crore families are given a subsidy of Rs 300 per cylinder. This amount is transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries.
