Naveen Grieves Loss of Many Lives in Chemical Factory Fire Accident in Telangana 

Bhubaneswar: BJD President and Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly Naveen Patnaik has expressed his grief over the loss of so many lives in a fire accident at a chemical factory in Telangana.

“Deeply saddened to know about the tragic loss of so many lives in a fire accident at a chemical factory in Telangana’s Sangareddy district. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. Wishing speedy recovery to those who sustained injuries”, the BJD President wrote on his ‘X’ handle.

The death toll in the explosion in a pharmaceutical unit at Pashamylaram near Hyderabad mounted to 36 on Tuesday. With some of the injured succumbing at hospitals and rescue workers recovering more bodies from debris, the death toll rose sharply since Monday, as per reports.

The majority of the victims were migrant workers from states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.
