Kia India Registers Strong 12.7% Growth in H1 2025, Dispatches Over 1.42 Lakh Units

New Delhi, July 1, 2025: Kia India, one of the country’s leading mass-premium automotive brands, has reported a robust performance in the first half of 2025. The company dispatched 1,42,139 units between January and June this year, marking an impressive 12.7% growth compared to 1,26,137 vehicles sold in the same period of 2024.

This remarkable uptick in sales comes on the back of the success of Kia’s recently launched Carens Clavis, which continues to receive overwhelming customer response. The Carens Clavis stands out for its spaciousness, comfort, feature-rich cabin, and best-in-class safety offerings — resonating strongly with evolving Indian family needs.

Beyond domestic success, Kia’s ‘Made-in-India’ products have also continued to perform well in international markets. The company exported 11,813 units in H1 2025, underlining the global appeal and quality standards of its Indian manufacturing.

Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, said, “The first half of 2025 has been highly encouraging for us. Despite broader industry challenges, the consistent demand for our models, especially the Carens Clavis, reflects the strength of our product strategy. With our first Made-in-India EV launching this month, we aim to diversify further and cater to the dynamic preferences of Indian consumers. We are optimistic this will help us build on our growth momentum and strengthen our position in the fast-evolving mobility landscape.”

As Kia looks forward to the second half of the year, the brand remains committed to delivering innovation, value, and an exceptional ownership experience to customers across India.
