Stock Market Holidays: BSE, NSE To Remain Closed For 8 Days In July 2025, Check Full List Here
As the new financial quarter gains pace, market participants planning their trading strategies for July 2025 will not have to worry about any exchange closures. Both of India’s primary stock exchanges, NSE and BSE, will remain fully operational on all weekdays during the month.
This means that, unlike certain previous months, there are no weekday holidays scheduled in July for either equities or derivatives segments. The only trading breaks will fall on the regular weekly holidays—Saturdays and Sundays—totalling eight non-trading days in the month.
Every year, the BSE publishes an official trading holiday calendar detailing the days when the markets will remain closed. These designated holidays typically coincide with national celebrations, religious festivals, and regular weekends. While trading is generally suspended on Saturdays and Sundays, the BSE may occasionally make exceptions—for example, during special events like the annual Union Budget announcement.
