Do not break these rules while offering water to the Shivling during the month of Sawan

The sacred month of Sawan, dedicated to Lord Shiva, commences on July 11th, culminating on August 9th. During this auspicious period, devotees perform Jalabhishek, offering water to the Shivling, especially on Mondays, to gain spiritual merit.
