Mumbai: Cloudy weather is anticipated in Mumbai and its neighboring areas starting in the morning, leading to a yellow alert, which indicates moderate to heavy rainfall, especially intensifying in the afternoon and evening. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that heavy rainfall will continue in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, and Kalyan-Dombivli on July 2, as a result of an active monsoon impacting the Konkan coastline.

Mumbai's weather report as of 9 am indicates mostly cloudy skies at 28°C with 25% precipitation. Humidity is at 81%, and the wind speed is 26 km/h. Morning observations show a steady temperature of 27-28°C.

Rain Alert In Mumbai And Maharashtra

Locations such as Hindmata, Sion, Andheri, Kurla, Chembur, and Malad might encounter the dangers of waterlogging, along with potential thunderstorms. Intense rainfall may interfere with nearby train and road transportation, prompting residents to monitor weather forecasts and steer clear of flood-prone zones and coastal areas because of potential water accumulation and elevated tides.

According to latest reports the high and low tides along with the estimated meters will be seen at the following hours of the day on July 2; At 17:03 (3.77m) and around 05:44 (3.14m); the low tide will be at 23:31 (1.70m) and 11:18 (2.35m) will be observed the next day.
