IGNOU Extends Last Date For July 2025 Re-Registration; Apply By July 15

IGNOU Admission 2025: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date of re-registration for the July 2025 session up to July 15, 2025. This is applicable for all programmes available through both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online modes. The candidates who have not applied yet for IGNOU admission 2025 can apply online at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

To study IGNOU's distance education courses, applicants need to generate a Distance Education Bureau (DEB) ID. This ID is compulsory and ensures students are enrolled in institutions of higher studies according to UGC norms.

Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU Admission:

- Undergraduate Courses: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board.

- Postgraduate Courses: At least 50% marks in a related subject with a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

- Diploma and Certificate Programmes: Class 12 from a recognised board is a must.

Admission for most courses is purely merit-based. Some courses, such as PhD, B.Ed., and Post Basic BSc Nursing (PBScN) can ask the candidates to clear entrance exams.

Documents Required for Admission:

Candidates need to upload scanned documents of the following while submitting the admission form:

- Recent passport size photo (max 100 KB)

- Signature (max 100 KB)

- Educational qualification certificates (max 200 KB)

- Experience certificate, if any (max 200 KB)

- Caste/category certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates (max 200 KB)
