Nivin Pauly's new film with director Akhil Sathyan titled 'Sarvam Maya'

The much-awaited first-look poster of Nivin Pauly’s next is finally out. The makers shared an announcement on Tuesday with a teaser alongside a poster that revealed the title as Sarvam Maya.

In the first look poster, Nivin Pauly is seen with raised eyebrows and vibhooti (sacred ash) on his forehead, with the caption, "The ghost next door."

The film is said to be a musical romance drama revolving around a ghost. It is slated for a Christmas release this year.

The film also stars Kannappa-fame Preity Mukhundhan as the female lead along with Aju Varghese, Althaf Salim, and others. Influencer Riya Shibu is also set to play a role in the film.

Akhil Sathyan, who made his directorial debut with Fahadh Faasil-starrer Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum, is directing the film and handling editing duties. 

Sarvam Maya is produced by Rajeev Menon and Dr. Ajayya Kumar under the banner Firefly Films. The music will be scored by Justin Prabhakaran, with Sharan Velayudhan on board as cinematographer.

Nivin Pauly has an exciting line-up of films: Dear Students co-starring Nayanthara; Dolby Dineshan, directed by Thamar; and Baby Girl, directed by Arun Varma. He is also part of Peranbu director Ram's upcoming Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai.

In addition, he recently announced that he has been cast as the antagonist in the Raghava Lawrence-starrer Benz, backed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. This film is said to be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).

Nivin Pauly’s last theatrical release was Malayalee from India in 2024. However, his extended appearance in Vineeth Sreenivasan's Varshangalkku Shesham, released in the same year, fetched more applause.
