46-Year-Old Farmer Tied To Tree, Beaten To Death Over Old Dispute In MP's Chhatarpur; Father Was Killed In 2003 By Same Family

Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): A 46-year-old farmer was tied to a tree and beaten to death with sticks and rods by a group of men in Chhatarpur on Wednesday.

The incident took place in Khairi Ratiya Haar village under Bamitha police station area in Madhya Pradesh.

According to information, the attack was extremely violent and shocking, as the victim was not only tied up but also repeatedly hit until he died.

Local sources say that more than six people, including both men and women, were involved in this deadly assault.

What makes the case even more disturbing is that Shankar's father, Dharmdas Patel, was also murdered in a similar manner in 2003.

Reports claim that people from the same family were responsible for both killings, pointing to a long-standing family rivalry or dispute.

Soon after the incident, police reached the scene. Khajuraho SDOP and Bamitha TI arrived with a full team of officers to take control of the situation and start an investigation.

The police have now registered a case against six men and three women who were allegedly involved in the murder. All accused are being searched, and further legal action will be taken based on the investigation.

The case has raised serious questions about personal enmity and safety in rural areas, and police are making efforts to ensure justice is served.
