Shefali Jariwala Prayer Meet: Kaanta Laga Star's Father Satish Jariwala Breaks Down, Parag Tyagi Consoles Him (VIDEO)

Kaanta Laga star Shefali Jariwala passed away at the age of 42 after suffering a cardiac arrest at her residence in Oshiwara, Mumbai, in the late hours of June 27. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai by her husband, Parag Tyagi, and three others, where she was declared dead on arrival. Days after her shocking demise, a prayer meet was held in her memory, during which her father, Satish Jariwala, was seen getting emotional and crying inconsolably.

In a video posted by media portal Mamarazzi on their Instagram handle, Shefali's father could be seen breaking down while remembering his late daughter, with Parag consoling him and offering support. According to the social media page, Shefali's prayer meet invite read: "Some stars shine too brightly to ever fade — even after they’re gone, their light remains."

Sources claim Shefali may have taken an anti-ageing injection on an empty stomach, which possibly triggered the cardiac arrest. The autopsy confirmed that there was no foul play in her death, although the official findings have not yet been publicly disclosed.

Jariwala's close friend and actor Pooja Ghai spoke about her death in an interview with Vickey Lalwani. She said, "Parag said that the pulse was still on, her eyes were not opening, and she just had dead weight to her body. So he realised that something was definitely wrong and he took her to the hospital, but apparently when she was brought to the hospital, she was already dead."

Pooja further revealed that Shefali often took Vitamin C IV drips and admitted that she had taken one on the night of her death.
