Delhi Cong unit organises ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Constitution’ campaign
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Devender Yadav and all 258 Block Congress Committees on Wednesday organised “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Constitution” meetings to condemn the BJP’s divisive politics and neglect of the poor and marginalised communities.
Addressing multiple gatherings throughout the day, Yadav urged Congress workers to expose what he called the BJP government’s “anti-people, anti-poor” policies and its failure to deliver on development promises.
At each meeting, Congress workers unanimously passed a resolution vowing to uphold the values of Gautama Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi and Dr BR Ambedkar, and to fight against social injustice and constitutional violations.
Yadav alleged that the BJP government was undermining constitutional safeguards by replacing regular jobs with contractual employment, pushing unemployment to record levels.
He also accused the ruling party of blocking access for Dalits, Adivasis and backward classes to key leadership positions despite constitutional reservations.
Yadav said it was time for a “social X-ray” to ensure representation of marginalised groups across sectors.
He also criticised the misuse of central agencies such as the Income Tax Department, ED and CBI as political weapons.
