Vijay Arora elected president of Lions club Hoshiarpur

Vijay Arora has been elected as the new president of the Lions Club Hoshiarpur Pearl in a meeting held under the chairmanship of former president Harjeet Singh Bhatia.

During the meeting, Sanjeev Arora proposed Vijay’s name for the post of president, a nomination supported by Bhatia and other club members. Following the election, Vijay Arora was officially handed over the responsibilities of the president by the general committee and authorised to form the club’s executive team.

Arora appointed Umesh Rana as the secretary, Kumar Gaurav as finance secretary and Sanjeev Arora as the Public Relations Officer (PRO). Addressing the members, President Vijay Arora outlined several initiatives for the club, including plans for plantation drives, organising awareness campaigns in schools and colleges about water conservation, anti-drug efforts and the dowry system.

The club will also conduct medical camps and other charitable activities, such as distributing stationery to underprivileged children and assisting those in need. Arora emphasised the club’s continued commitment to serving the community and making a positive impact through its various projects.
