Ravi Dubey is all set to reprise the character of Laxman in director Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part film series Ramayana: Part 1 and 2. Ravi, who gained a massive breakthrough with serials like Saas Bina Sasural and later with Jamai Raja, is now gearing up to make it big in Bollywood with a film that reportedly has a budget of Rs 835 crore.

Did You Know Ravi Was an Engineer by Profession?

Yes, you read that right! Ravi did his electronics and telecommunications engineering at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai. Since his father, Gyan Prakash Dubey, was a civil engineer, Ravi chose the same field as a backup plan. He began his career in modelling before making his television debut with Stree… Teri Kahaani (2006-2007).

According to Wikipedia, Ravi also worked as a real estate agent. However, he knew his true calling was acting and hence started his journey in the same field.
