LIC Housing Finance marks 36th year with digital campaign by BC Web Wise

BC Web Wise has conceptualised and executed a microsite-led campaign for LIC Housing Finance (LIC HFL), marking the company’s 36th Foundation Day. The campaign centres around a digital activation titled Apna Ghar, Apna Naam, which enables users to create personalised nameplates through a dedicated microsite.

The initiative is based on the symbolic act of placing one's name on the door of a new home, a moment widely recognised as a milestone in the journey toward homeownership. Drawing inspiration from LIC HFL’s Foundation Day film, the activation highlights the emotional connection individuals have with the idea of owning a home.

The digital experience invites users to generate and download their own nameplates through an interactive tool. The feature has been designed to allow people to symbolically manifest their aspirations of owning a home by placing their names digitally on a nameplate.

Anuja Bharadwaj, Associate Creative Director at BC Web Wise, stated: “Owning a home is one of the most personal dreams for many Indians, and the nameplate is often the most visible sign of that dream coming true. With this activation, we wanted to recreate that moment of pride, even digitally. It's simple, it's emotional, and it's something everyone can relate to.”

The campaign is being supported by content shared on LIC HFL’s social media channels and through internal engagement efforts. The initiative encourages user participation through user-generated content and sharing mechanisms built into the platform.
