Tree plantation conducted to honor brave soldiers at 39 GTC memorial lawn in Varanasi
A tree plantation drive occurred at 39 Gorkha Training Centre in Varanasi. It honored the Third and Ninth Gorkha soldiers. Sixteen Golden Cypress trees were planted for Shaurya Chakra recipients. Young Agniveers pledged to care for the trees. Twenty-five ornamental plants were also planted. These will bloom and beautify the area.
