IND vs ENG 2nd Test: Ravindra Jadeja’s Hilarious 'Huh! I’m cheating?' Stump Mic Moment With Umpire Chris Gaffaney Goes Viral; Watch
Ravindra Jadeja was caught sharing a humorous exchange with on-field umpire Chris Gaffaney on day four of the ongoing India vs England 2nd Test at Edgbaston. The stump mic caught both of them having a hilarious chat when Gaffaney was resetting the bails atop the stumps. Jadeja began to poke Gaffaney playfully, stating “Huh! I’m cheating?” responding to a light tease from Gaffaney.
Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time Jadeja and Gaffaney have shared a light-hearted moment in the series. During the earlier Test at Headingley, the pair were seen laughing together when India successfully appealed for a ball change after it had gone out of shape.
India closing on victory at Edgbaston as Shubman Gill, Akash Deep dismantle England
India completely dominated proceedings on Day 4 of the second Test against England as captain Shubman Gill led from the front with his marvellous innings of 161. Gill became the first batter in the history of the game to score a double hundred and 150 in the same Test. The indian skipper was eventually dismissed by Shoaib Basheer who caught him off his own bowling.
India made the declaration after their lead surpassed the 600-run mark and set England a massive target of 608 runs. Akash Deep dismantled England's top order before stumps with a brilliant spell with new ball.
Chasing 608 for victory, Ben Duckett attacked Mohammed Siraj.However, the India seamer came back strongly as he got Zak Crawley caught at backward point for a seven-ball duck. Duckett was eventually outfoxed by Akash Deep, who bowled him. The right-arm seamer further got the prized scalp of Joe Root for 6 with a peach of a delivery to leave England in all sorts of trouble.
