Along with the video, Parag wrote, "Simba is Hail & Hearty and doing all the rituals to be done by a son for his mom. This video is for all those wonderful people who were really concerned about our baby Simba because of some heartless people spreading false news about our baby Simba’s health just to garner few likes and views (sic)."
"I would like to thank everyone who are really concerned about Simba. God bless you all (sic)," he added.
Shefali and Parag's son Simba
Shefali and Parag, who were married for 11 years, did not have a child of their own, however, they always referred to their pet pug Simba as their "son".
Shefali had posted countless photos on her Instagram handle with her "son" Simba, and she had also shared at an event how he completed her life and filled the void of a child.
On the day of her death, Parag had reportedly taken Simba down for a stroll, when Shefali felt unwell and asked him to return home. However, her condition had already worsened by the time he returned, and she passed away before reaching the hospital.
Shefali Jariwala's death
Shefali passed away on June 27 at her Mumbai residence after suffering a cardiac arrest due to low blood pressure.
The actress was reportedly on anti-ageing medications, and on the day of her death, she was fasting for spiritual purposes. She took an injection with the anti-ageing drug on an empty stomach, which might have triggered a sudden drop in her blood pressure, leading to heart attack.
Shefali was cremated in Mumbai in the presence of her friends and family members on June 28.
